Co Curricular Activities – Annual Calendar 2009-10 Sr Secondary & Secondary Section
PRINCIPAL
Enhancement of spoken English for all categories of staff and children.
Ø Entire Vidyalaya is involved at all levels namely: Primary, Secondary, Sr. Secondary for the promotion of spoken English along with the members of the staff.
Ø School assembly is conducted largely in English .
Ø All announcements are made in English, teachers and students address the assembly in rotation .Each teacher is given an opportunity to give a morning talk in English .Students read stories, biographies, recite poems etc.
Ø Discussion on current topics is also organized in classes occasionally.
Ø English word games puzzle and spelling contest was organized under CCA program.
Ø Houses have been distributed on the names of the renowned English poets like W Wordsworth, Shelley, Keats & Browning
Ø Part time teacher is engaged in the primary section for improving verbal presentation and communication.
Ø Letter no.F.11029/38-2008-KVS HQ (Acad) is strictly adhered to.
Ø All the students and teachers are encouraged and motivated to converse in English within the school premises.

(16)Celebration of vigilance awareness week from 12th Nov. to 16th Nov. 07: Children delivered speeches and a poster competition was orgenised on topic ?Hamara parva Bhrashtachar wadham?.
(17)Celebration of Sadbhavna Jhanda Divas on 23rd Nov. 07: A rally was orgenised and taken out from vidyalaya upto Killai Naka Damoh for spreading the massage of Communal Hormony.
(18)Celebration of KVS foundation day on 15-12-07: The programme was started with lighting of the traditional lamp by VMC members. Colourful group dances of state and group songs from Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary sections added a flavour to the show.
