Title : Jabera(50 km)  
Description : Giridarshan-Situated on the High way from Damoh to Jabalpur 5 kms. from Jabera and 7 km. from Sigrampur toward Damoh on a green hill in the jungle a beautiful double storeyed rest house cum watch tower was built by the Forest Dept. It is a beautiful piece of Architecture. From the main road a narrow path along of the bank of a tank reaches this rest house. The reservation to stay in the rest house can be made at DFO office at Damoh. The beautiful sight of the roads of the small hills and the fascinating view of the sunrise and the sunset thrills the visitors. This view can be seen from the terrace of the rest house. The wild animals also can be seen at night.-It is at 5 KM from Jabera on Damoh Jabalpur bus route and 7 KM from Singrampur therefore it is better to have own vehicle.

Description : Singaurgarh fort-About 6 km. away from Sigrampur the ruins of a fort of an historical importance can be found. There was civilization here in older times. King Vane Basore had built a big and strong fort and the Gawe kings ruled over here for a long time. At the end of the 15th century Gaund king Dalpati Shah with her queen Durgawati lived here. After his death queen Durgawati fought with Asaf Ali the chief of the army of Mughal king Akbar. There is also a lake here, which is full of lotus flowers. This is an ideal picnic spot.-On the route of bus from Damoh to Jabalpur, at 55 KM the village is Singrampur from where Singaurgarh is at 6 KM of distance. To reach there own vehicle is better.

Title : NOHLESHWAR TEMPLE , NOHTA  
Description : This Shiv Temple is about 1 K.M. away from Nohta village. Shiv is also known as 'Mahadev' and 'Nohleshwar'. It was built around 950-1000 A.D. According to some people the credit of building this temple goes to the queen of Kalchury King Avni Varma of Chalukya Vansha. The Shiv temple of Nohta is the most important representation or the design of the architecture of Kalchury style of temple buildings of the 10th Century. It is built on a high platform. It's parts are - 'Panch rath', 'Garbhgrih', 'Amtral', 'Mandap' and 'Mukh Mandap'.

This Kshetra is about 1000 years ancient and is present in midst of natural surroundings. The effect of Kalchuri Periodic Art of 10th-11th century is clearly visible in the art of temple and the idols present here. The temples of this Kshetra have restored the historicity & art in its usual form and they deliver the message of self-development to all living beings. The ruins and fragments of Jain temples available here are so much in quantity that it is difficult to find out the exact number of temples which existed here in past. According to one report the 13 Jinalayas & temples do existed here in the year 1934 but up to 1944 only 9 Jinalayas & temples were left. The 10 temples are constructed here in one compound only and 11th temple exists on one hill in north direction of the Kshetra. Atishaya: - The carvings of ‘Nandishwar Dveep’ & ‘Sahastrakoot Chaityalaya’ are quite artistic and miraculous. According to Pandit Balbhadra Jain it is because of their artistic style they have become unique. No other Jinalaya is made in this artistic style at any other place. It was few years ago only that Gods of heaven used to come at this Kshetra on ‘Ashtanhika Festival’ and use to offer their prayers on this occasion. The shower of saffron also occurs here on this occasion and the whole environment get filled with fragrance of saffron. The 7th temple of this Kshetra in which Sahastrakoot Jinalaya exists, is famous as Sanctum Temple (Garbha Mandir). Even after the presence of 2 ventilators & 2 gates in this temple one feels cool in summers & warm in winters. The Chaaritra Chakravarti Acharya Shanti Sagar Ji Sasangh & Mahamanishi Sant ‘Shullak Ganesh Prasad Ji Varni’ are also were deeply impressed by the serene & peaceful environment of this Teerth Kshetra. Even the Yogiraj Poojya Acharya Vidya Sagar Ji of present times was also pleased by peaceful environment of this Kshetra. The History of Sad Ruin of Koni: - After seeing the ruins & broken fragments scattered over this area it is clear that this Kshetra would have been flourishing in ancient times. But now one gets ashes only after digging. The nearby village – the ‘Gadaghat’ was one of the center of Mass-revolt against Britishers during the first revolution of year 1857. At this place only the birtishers faced their defeat for quite no of times. At this the Britishers attacked Gadaghat Village after getting equipped with Cannons & other weapons with huge army. In this attack various freedom fighters were killed. The Britishers took severe revenge from the people. The women & even the children were shot down by British Army when they came in front of them and moreover many villagers were also burned by them. The huge idols of huge Jain Temples were sent to Patan and the Koni city was burned & the local residents of this place never came back to Koni city again. Main Temple & Idol : In this Kshetra 10 spired temples were constructed together in single compound only & most of the idols belonging 10th-11th century are installed in these temples. The 8th temple is the main temple in which the 4 feet high Padmasan miraculous idol of principal deity Bhagwan Parshvanath surmounted with seven serpent hoods is installed. The idol is made of white stone. Due to the effectively of idol the mind of devotee gets filled with great peace & indescribable joy. This idol is also called as ‘Vighnahar Parshvanath’. It is said that problems of person get solved if the person offers his prayers devotionally to ‘Vighnahar Parshvanath’. The 7th sanctum temple is famous for its air-conditioned miracle. The unique Sahastrakoot Jinalaya, which is also famous for its artistic style, exists in this temple only. All the 8 Panels (slabs) are carved on octagon shaped platform & the sum of idols on this is 1008. The antique magnificent artistic style (carving) of Nandishwar Dveep is established in the 10th temple. Temple Kind of & Timings : Digambar : - from 6 in the morning to 10 in the night. Other Temples : The magnificent Trimurti temple was constructed here because of inspiration of Acharya Vidya Sagar Ji. The 7 feet high pleasant Khadgasan idols of Bhagwan Adinath, Bhagwan Bharat & Bhagwan Bahubali are installed in this temple. The temple of such type is first in M.P. This is second numbered temple of this Kshetra. In the first temple the idol of Bhagwan Mahaveer Swami; in third temple the idol of Bhagwan Bahubali; in fourth temple the idol of Bhagwan Shantinath & Chandraprabhu; in fifth temple the idol of Bhagwan Adinath; in sixth temple the idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath & in ninth temple the Chaubeesee carvings on stone slab is installed. 11th temple is situated on hill in north direction of this Kshetra. Natural Scenerio : Kundalgiri (Koniji) Kshetra is situated in the midst of pleasant & natural environment of hilly area on the banks of Hiran River. The surroundings of this Kshetra are filled with natural beauty. Annual Gatherings The ‘Maha Mastakabhishek’ Festival is organized every year after ‘Dashlakshan Parva’ (Festival). Description : Bhainsa-3 km. from Bhainsa village towards Kalumar on W.B.M. road there is road leading to the spot called "Nazara". This place has been developed as a platform on the top of the mountain giving a breath taking overview of the Rani Durgawati Abhyaran. Title : Narsingarh(20 km)  
Description : Diamond Cement-Narsingarh is a small village between the banks of two rivers - Kopra and Sonar. It is about 20 kms. away from Damoh on the Damoh-Chhatarpur State Highway No.37. It takes its name from its ancient ruler, Narsingh. In the history of Madhya Bharat, Narsingarh assumes great importance because it was the gate way from North to the Central India. Mughals invaded it and after a fierce battle captured it and changed its name from Narsingarh to Nasrathgarh. Marathas invaded it and captured it from the Mughals and restored its original name. Britishers subjugated it from the Marathas. It had an ancient Fort, the remnants of which are still standing as mute witnesses to the history of Narsingarh. The present population of the village is around 7000 and the main occupation of the local population is agriculture. Its climate is tropical and it receives moderate rains. Because of the Limestone deposits in and around it, Mysore Cements Ltd., a Company owned and controlled by the ?House of Birlas?, constructed a large cement plant - Diamond Cements - at Narsingarh with a capacity of One million tons per annum. The unit started production in the year 1983.-Narsingarh is a small village between the banks of two rivers - Kopra and Sonar. It is about 20 kms. away from Damoh on the Damoh-Chhatarpur State Highway No.37.

Here are 63 temples of various types, among them 22nd temple is famous for Bade Baba Bhagwan Adinath the principal deity and 49th is called Jal Mandir, an attractive temple situated in the middle of beautiful pond Vardhaman Sagar. The colossus of Bade Baba and so many idols of Teerthankars brought letter in the same temple are supposed to be installed in 10th - 11th & 11th - 12th century. It is clear from inscriptions on idols that Kundalpur was famous about year 1554 A.D. as Teerth Kshetra. There are 40 temples on hill and remaining 23 in valley. Temples No. 41 to 47 are small in size while No. 48 to 60 are big temples with beautiful spires. Atishaya – The warrior of Bundelkhand Maharaj Chhatrasal succeeded in capturing his lost kingdom after Darshan (Prayer – worship) of miraculous Bade Baba. Then Maharaj Chhatrasal helped in reconstruction of the temple. One Mugal Emperor tried to destroy Bade Baba, when he stroked on the thumb of colossus, milk flooded out from thumb and at the same time dense flocks of honey bees attacked on invaders and pushed them to run away. Then Mughal Emperor bagged pardon there and went shamefully.

Title : Nidankund(60 km)  
Description : Bhainsaghat-Almost 1/2 km. from the Bhainsaghat Rest House towards the Bhainsa village, a road goes to this waterfall. 1 km. from the main road a stream between the high black rocks flows down from more than 100 ft's hight. This is called Nidan Kund. During the months of July and August there is much water in the stream so the sight of this fall from the front is breath taking. It becomes a perfect picnic spot in September and October as water in the stream is reduced. There are steps like formation on the black rocks against the flow of the stream so it makes a beautiful sight when the water flows down over these rocks.-about 8 KM away from Singrampur at Damoh Jabalpur bus route.
